What do I need to provide for delivery and setup?
​We deliver a tub to your location and ask that you provide:
- A flat, stable, and level surface. Slab, pavers, or grass are best.
- A standard 120 V / 15 amp GFCI‑protected outlet (our tubs plug into standard household power).
- A garden hose or water spigot to fill the tub. Access to a hot water outlet (i.e. washing machine hookup) can get you soaking faster.
- Clear access for delivery (pathway, doorway clearance, and truck parking).
We’ll confirm these details during booking to ensure a smooth setup.​
How heavy is the tub once filled and can it go on my deck or patio?
We exclusively use Softubs brand tubs (no inflatables!). Softubs are lighter than traditional spas, but still very heavy once filled... ~2,000 pounds before people get in the tub. If you’re placing it on a raised deck you are responsible for confirming proper load support. Ground-level placement on concrete, pavers, or gravel is preferred
How do you keep the water clean, safe, and balanced?
Before every rental we drain, clean, and sanitize the tub. You’ll receive fresh water, sanitizer, and test strips with instructions. Keep the cover on when not in use and avoid lotions or oils.
We’ll guide you through easy water care to maintain clarity and safety.
Who can use the tub? What safety guidelines should I follow?
Maximum safe temperature is 104 °F. This is the tubs preset limit. Children, pregnant people, or those with heart conditions should consult a doctor before use. Limit soak times to 15–30 minutes. Keep the locking cover on when not in use to prevent unsupervised access. Avoid alcohol use in the tub.
How long does it take to heat up? Can we rent during colder months?
We deliver the day before your rental period to allow the tub time to heat up. They’re well-insulated for year-round use. In winter, place the tub in a sheltered area and keep the cover on to conserve heat.
What are your delivery, pickup, rental periods, and service area?
We offer flexible rentals: weekend, weeklong, or extended stays. Standard service covers Asheville and nearby counties, with optional delivery to outlying mountain areas. Delivery and pickup are scheduled in advance.
What happens with filling, water disposal, and power during the rental?
We fill the tub with fresh water (that you provide) at delivery and safely drain it at pickup. You’ll need a drainage area and access to water and power during your rental. If we arrange for an extended rental, we’ll provide guidance for chemical top-ups or maintenance visits if needed.
